G Mint

George Qualley (a.k.a. DJ G Mint) has been behind the decks since 1994. With few dance floors in his hometown of Sioux City, Iowa, George set out to find his own audiences and founded Thunder & Lightning Sound and Lighting (www.MidwestDJs.com) -- an entertainment venture that he continues to operate with his brother Cornelius (a.k.a. DJ Cut Money C) in Des Moines, Iowa.

With well over a decade of experience as a professional DJ, George has played nearly every style of music at almost every type of event. George has played at hundreds of gigs throughout Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Illinois. From clubs to weddings, parties to proms, tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of people have listened and danced to the music of the diverse and talented DJ G Mint.

In addition to his long-honed skills behind the decks, George also has extensive sound, lighting, and video production experience. Through Thunder & Lightning, George has produced (and DJed) events for thousands.
